Valerie Krull

I arrived in Olympia in September of 1981 at the age of 20. I had gone to college the year before in Beloit, Wisconsin, after leaving Missouri. At Beloit College I took a class called Current Issues In Education. This class woke me up to the existence of alternative education and I promptly went to a college catalogue and found three listings for alternative colleges. I got the course catalogue from Evergreen with the picture of Eld Inlet on the cover, and there was no going back.
